Hiroyasu Komine

Public Policy Manager

Hiroyasu Komine is a seasoned public affairs professional with extensive experience of management roles within both the private sector and public sector. Prior to joining GR Japan, he served as Director of the Office for Public Employees’ Voice, Government Revitalization Unit, Deputy-Director of the Office for Revising the Freedom of Information Law, Director, National Policy Unit, and Councilor of the Secretariat of Public Interest Corporation Commission in the Government of Japan.  During the period, he engaged in promoting “accountability” and “transparency” of public administration. 

Komine holds B.A. from the Department of English Studies, Faculty of Foreign Studies, Sophia University and Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University.  He is a graduate of the Matsushita Institute of Government & Management.
