Shunsuke Nio is an experienced government relations consultant with a strong understanding of the Japanese policy-making process and a wide network among policy professionals. He oversees global health policy-related projects, with focus on multilateral cooperation and public-private partnerships.

Before joining GR Japan, Nio worked at the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) on export strategy formulation, the promotion of Japanese companies, and regional revitalization.

Nio holds a B.A in International Liberal Studies from Waseda University. He is fluent in Japanese and English.
