Takashi Kuroda, with over 34 years of administrative experience at the Cabinet Office and the Consumer Affairs Agency, joined GR Japan on September 16, 2023. He has been actively involved in all aspects of the policy-making process in fields such as foreign direct investment promotion, regulatory reform, economic and fiscal policies, and consumer administration.
Recognized as an expert in parliamentary affairs, Takashi possesses a deep understanding of government processes. During his tenure at the Cabinet Office, he played a pivotal role in formulating the "Basic Policies for Economic and Fiscal Management and Reform" (commonly known as the Honebuto) between 2016 to 2018. Subsequently serving as Deputy Director-General at the Consumer Affairs Agency, he was directly involved in drafting and revising significant legislation related to consumer protection.
Takashi is a graduate of Waseda University's School of Political Science and Economics.
