According to Nikkei Shimbun on 9 September, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who was re-elected unopposed as a president of LDP, is planning a cabinet reshuffle in October. However, the reshuffle is expected to be a minor one since Abe wishes to focus on the economic recovery.
