2020 marks the 10-year anniversary of GR Japan, the leading government relations firm in Japan. Co-founders Jakob Edberg and Philip Howard were interviewed by the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan, and discussed how the company grew from a two-person enterprise to a team of over 70.
 
Edberg and Howard discuss some of the challenges such as the need to develop the understanding of government relations in Japan, successful case studies and how the company harnesses a diverse yet specialised team, as it promotes effective dialogue between government and other stakeholders.  With offices in Osaka, Seoul, Washington DC and London, they also discuss how the GR Group wants to be recognised as one of the best government relations firms in the world.
