GR Japan is pleased to host Mr. Tsuyoshi Hoshino, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, and a Member of the House of Representatives, for the March meeting of the International Policy Forum (IPF). Mr. Hoshino will discuss his insights and views on the future of Prime Minister Abe’s Abenomics and the recent economy and trade policy developments.
Mr. Hoshino launched his political career in 1993 after leaving Sankei Shimbun to run for the Kanagawa prefectural assembly. He was elected at the age of 31 (youngest member of the assembly at the time) and served three terms. After leading the Kanagawa 12th district’s LDP branch for 2 years, he was first elected at the national level in 2012 and was reelected in 2014 election, currently serving his second term in the House of Representatives.
